Astini is Widi's sister and is 15 years old.
Ben has known her since 2010. Astini is very intelligent
and is attending the first form of the SMA.
She attended 3 SMP grades in Dempassar, where she was having room and board
helping the family with household. When she wasn't needed in the household any
longer, she was turned out into the street and went to live with her parents again in 2014.
Because the parents could hardly pay for her studies, the Johanna Foundation is
helping by paying her school fee of Rp 500,000 (€ 35,-).
Furniture of many Balinese mostly consists of one or to beds, also serving as a couch or
a chair. Ben Suzenaar has enabled Astini and Widi's parents some chairs. So they too
receive an annual allowance of € 50,- as a personal gift from Ben.
